Perhaps this was the place I had been looking for. I am so grateful to be a member of TIG.

Disabling TIG messenger????????????? Not friendly
Translations available in: English (original) | French | Spanish | Italian | German | Portuguese | Swedish | Russian | Dutch | Arabic

I am sorry if I have hurt anyone but I think its hostile. Ok, i do know there are some people who keep on disturbing{ It happened to me as well} but still, one shouldn't disable his/her messenger. There are some people who seem to be inspiring and I would like to send msgs to appreciate them , but there's no chance. To me, its hostile.

Victory Day Of Bangladesh- 16 th December.
Related to country: Bangladesh

Translations available in: English (original) | French | Spanish | Italian | German | Portuguese | Swedish | Russian | Dutch | Arabic

Victory day (Bangla:বিজয় দিবস) is celebrated on December 16 in Bangladesh. On this day in 1971, the Pakistani Army surrendered to the Indo-Bangladeshi High Command in Dhaka, ending a 9 month war of independence. Pakistani General AAK Niazi surrendered officially to the Allied forces commander General Jagjit Singh Aurora. Bangladesh gained independence after 9 months of a long and bloody struggle.

India also commemorates victory over Pakistan on the same day in 1971 on Vijay Diwas.

The national flag is bottle green in color and rectangular in size with the length to width ratio of 10:6 bearing a red circle on the body of the green. The red circle has a radius of one fifth of the length of the flag. Its center is placed on the middle of the perpendicular drawn from the nine twentieth part of the flag. The background color symbolizes the greenery of Bangladesh with its vitality and youthfulness while the red disc represents the rising sun and the sacrifice our people made to obtain our independence.
